Boost Overall Growth, Not a Few Sectors

Farmers from all over the country are once again at the door of Delhi. In the past one-and-a-half years, there has hardly been any such occasion when there was no news of farmers' agitation from any corner of the country. This is the third major demonstration of farmers in the capital within a few weeks. In September, farmers had gathered here on the call of All India Kisan Sabha, after which the Indian Farmer Union held a rally in October. In the past, farmers in Maharashtra had marched from Nasik to Mumbai, which had made it clear that the anger of the farmers has reached to what level. Right now, when farmers are accumulating in Delhi, a farmer rally is being held in Singur, West Bengal. These farmers, who are accumulating in Singur, will now march towards Kolkata. The five states which are currently in the process of election, Even in the election meetings, all the political parties are seen pestering the wounds of the farmers. At this time the anger of the farmers is being seen in almost every corner of the country, which states that what is being called the Krishi Crisis is not the problem of any organization, any one party or any one geography, but every corner of the country Farmers are troubled this time and also disappointed. The way the farmers have been forced to commit suicide in the last few years, they say that the government has been anywhere, and has failed to solve the problems of farmers.
The farmers who are currently agitated throughout this country, their demands are not too big. The extent to which we can say that the demand for a lump sum loan forgiveness can be very effective, which could have a major impact on the country's finances. But it is also true that after one and the other, this demand is being sought in almost every state. Even where it is not believed yet, political parties are also promising it. The second demand is to increase the minimum support price of the crops, which the government has been increasing from time to time. A demand which has been heard all over the country for a long time, is to implement the Swaminathan Committee's recommendations. It has not been clarified by any government that if this demand is not being sought, then what is the hindrance? Or where is the problem of accepting these recommendations? One demand of farmers gathered in Delhi is that farmers, For the problems of agriculture and villages, a special session of Parliament should be called. There should not be any problem in this. If there is a special session, different aspects of agricultural problems will come in front of everyone and it will also be able to know which is the position of them?
However, it is also clear that all such demands are not guaranteed to end the agitation and rural crisis. The demands that are currently in demand can give immediate relief to the farmers, but the challenge is to eliminate that agricultural crisis from the root, which has long since surpassed the danger mark. The world economy is changing and it is a difficult matter to prepare the agriculture sector for future changes, which is not being thought yet. But now it can not be avoided.
